House of Impermanence
What happens to a human-inhabited space when the humans have left the room; after a moment, a few hours, or a few years have House of Impermanence is an exploration of what unfolds in spaces after the occupants have moved on: moments, hours, or years later. Through sculptural installations, living systems, and image-based works, the exhibition considers how objects, plants, and animals continue to exist: shifting, transforming, and quietly persisting over time.
Structured through three interconnected themes, The Imagined, The Observed, and The Entwined, the works present a series of contained yet evolving worlds. Viewers will encounter miniature environments, experimental terrariums, and layered spatial studies where growth, decay, and memory unfold in subtle, ongoing ways.
Time is approached as non-linear: what has been, what is, and what might be coexist. Across the exhibition, materials and living elements interact and adapt, forming worlds in flux that continue beyond direct human control.
