Sila Sen

Sila Sen is a London-based multidisciplinary artist working primarily in the visual arts. 

 

Her work explores nature, time, and the meanings attached to both the animate and inanimate. Through shifting light, colour, sound, movement, and collected objects, she constructs worlds that invite viewers into moments of reflection, feeling, and observation, where each experience subtly changes with time, movement, and perspective.

Often miniature in scale and largely handmade, her pieces are shaped through a slow and attentive process of making. Small details are treated with care and curiosity, with repetition, variation, movement, and play forming an important part of both the construction and experience of the work.
